Hello everybody!
God has been so good! I’m sorry I haven’t been able to write for the last few days. The reason why is because we have been going non-stop and have had the opportunity to minister in so many different places and ways. I just want to mention a few of the experiences we have had and I want to try and describe to you all how beautiful the Filipino people are.
Our team has traveled to city churches, country churches, a high school, and an orphanage. One of our crowds was 800 strong. On some nights, the team prays for every single person in the church. Our team has been amazing. Rodney and Kathy Moore have introduced us to their friends and shared their passion for the Lord and the Philippines with us. Meredith, their daughter, has blessed us and the Filipino people by her worship of God through dancing. Jerry & Linda Barnes carried two boxes of clothes across 9,000 miles for the precious orphans we met last night. I will never forget

Hello dear friends and family! We are safe and sound in the Philippines. We arrived in Manila at 11:15 pm (Philippine Time) on Wednesday evening. This morning we left Manila and arrived in Mindanao. Everybody is feeling well, although we are all very tired. Everyone is very excited!
We can't wait to put up some pictures! We will do that as soon as possible. We ministerd today (I can't believe that today was Thursday!) at an amazing church full of very passionate and excited people, most of them were very young. The worship music was amazing. We have been treated so kindly by everyone. There is a very sweet Spirit here, and I think I know Who it belongs too. :)
I have to go for now, but please keep us in your prayers. For all of Pastor Jones' family: He is doing so well! We are so glad that he is with us! He is already ministering to people one on one. We would never have been abe to put all our guitars back together today without him! We are taking good

Hello everybody!
I am writing this in the terminal at the DFW airport. We are waiting to board our 14 hr. flight to South Korea. By the time we are able to post this, we may be there already! God has blessed us with His favor. We went easily through security and etc. Pastor Jones got special treatment on his first flight; the pilot invited him up to the cockpit and gave him an autographed flight itinerary, not to mention he announced Pastor Jones name over the intercom and congratulated him for taking his first flight!
We are so excited to be on our way to the Philippines! Keep us in your prayers!

P.S.-
Hello! We had a very safe flight to South Korea and we are waiting in the airport for our flight to Manila. It is 7:10 pm on Wednesday the 7th here. That’s all I can say for now! We put some pictures up on our website if you want to see them. Everybody’s feeling well and ready to get to the Philippines!
Blessings!

Hello folks!
What happened to this summer? Where did it go? I’m sure kids all over the country are asking themselves these same questions as they head back to school this week. I am asking myself these questions today because I was amazed to discover that my last blog entry occurred… er, quite some time ago. I’m feeling a little sheepish about that, but at least this way I have a lot more to talk about! The last few months have been very busy for my family. We have been blessed with the opportunity of bringing our music ministry to many churches and gatherings. As I discover followers of Christ everywhere we go I am reminded that the church is not contained within one building. It is a living, breathing body of believers who just happen to meet in brick buildings, metal garages, basements, prisons, nursing homes, college campuses, living rooms, shacks, and bungalows all over this world. It is amazing to see how the love of Jesus forms a common denominator...

Hello friends & neighbors!
Wow! The last few weeks have been very busy… and the only Hubbard who wasn’t excited about it was Buster. He’s the family dog. We had to board him at the kennel three times. He wasn’t too happy about that. But the rest of us Hubbards have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and are very encouraged and excited that our ministry is staying so busy. Thank you, Lord!
We spent the 14th with our good friend Miles Pike at his second annual homecoming in Jacksonville, TX. If you enjoy southern gospel music and have never seen Miles, you need to for five reasons. Five…that’s the number of octaves Miles can sing in. The concert also featured the singing of Ben Waites, John Simmons, and Jordan James, all very talented solo artists, who joined forces (as they say in the comic books) with Miles to form The Gospel Tones Quartet. The Hubbard Family was proud to be a part of the concert. If you enjoy heartfelt southern

Dear Friends,
The Hubbard Family has had a very busy last couple of weeks, in which, sadly, I failed to update the blog. But they were not only very busy weeks, they were VERY blessed weeks, and so I have some rich material today! Please keep the Hubbard Family in your prayers. We are in the process of recording our new album, which will feature many of our newer original songs that we have been playing in our concerts the last two or three years. We are so excited about FINALLY getting them on record!
The Lord has taken our ministry to many different places the last few months… from little country churches, to lonely nursing homes, to a sprawling (& packed) metal building where the cowboys and cowgirls go to worship the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills.
We recently returned from a trip to Vidor, TX. There is a church there, in a shopping mall outlet, with a sign in the window that says “OPEN”. Some of our dearest friends gather

Hello friends!
Last night I was looking through some photographs, and I ran across this one of Jeri Lynn. It never fails to make me smile.
You see, three years ago (just a few months before this picture was taken), we had no idea that Jeri was a drummer. Jeri had no idea that Jeri was a drummer! But God did. I am reminded of the first night we set up a drum set in the living room and put the sticks in her hands. It was unbelievable how quickly and naturally Jeri took to the drums. I can see the Lord chuckling as our jaws dropped in amazement!
Some might say Jeri simply discovered her talent that night. But we know better. We felt the presence of the Lord moving in Jeri's life... it was all just too perfect. His fingerprints were everywhere. We realized Jeri had not only discovered her gift, but her calling. Jeri went from being the kid sister on the front pew who got up to do one or two songs, to the backbone of our music...
It is a beautiful thing (and a rare and

Dear friends,
Looking back over 2008, I am amazed at all the places that the Lord has taken our ministry, all the people He has allowed our paths to cross...old friends with dear faces, precious family members. But strangest of all to me is this, and I have seen God do this time and time again- He introduces you to one of His friends, and even though you are complete strangers you instantly feel as if you've known each other forever. Suddenly, mysteriously, your hearts are knit together in a special kind of brotherly/sisterly love that can connect people who have absolutely nothing in common- nothing but Christ. It's very strange, very mysterious. It's not of this earth, but heaven. It's got the Holy Spirit all over it!
I am reminded that the church is not a building of brick or stone or wood... it is the living, breathing body of Christ. This year I have seen Christ at work. I have

Dear friends,
Today I want to tell you a little bit about Lorianne. You may know her as the "official soul singer" of the Hubbard Family and ace mandolinist, but she is a girl of many talents. Lorianne is also a gifted artist. She specializes in beautiful pencil drawings. Anybody who comes over to the Hubbard House definitely knows about this already. You see, either Jeri, Mom, Dad, or me will eventually sneak into Lori's room, grab her portfolio, and bring it triumphantly to our guest... and Jeri will insist that she taugt Lori everything she knows (which is absolutely untrue. I did). Ok, so we're pretty proud.
From the beginning, Lori has had God-given gift and love for drawing people. Her portfolio is full of faces... young & beautiful, old & wrinkled. All are lovingly and painstakingly drawn. And in all these faces, somehow Lori seems to capture the soul in shades of black and white.
These last few weeks, Lorianne has been working on some

Hello friends!
We hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving! Enjoy your time off. Enjoy the food (oh, yes!) and your blessings. Most of all, enjoy your family. God has been good!
We are counting our blessings here at "Hubbard Headquarters" (that always makes me laugh). If you wanna see a real live miracle, just take a look at our merchandise page... our Christmas CD, "Lamb's Lullaby", is finished!
We are thankful that we were blessed to be a part of a wonderful service honoring the volunteers at Greenbriar Nursing home last Saturday. Also, we were thankful to spend Sunday at our home church, New Life Baptist! You know what that means... FOOD! No, seriously, it means more than just food... it means dear friends, encouragement, fellowship, fun, a gospel message, AND food!
This Sunday we will be at the First Assembly of God in Jacksonville, TX. Pastor Eddy and his family are dear friends of ours. We owe a huge

Hey folks!
This has been a very eventful week for the Hubbard family. By "eventful" I mean extremely hectic! Here at Hubbard headquarters we are putting the finishing touches on our Christmas CD. Earlier this week our dear unsuspecting friends Miles and Kimberly Pike volunteered to help us take the pictures for the CD!! For that, we are eternally grateful. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get five Hubbards to look in the same direction at once?! In the past, Daddy has been forced to hit the timer button on the camera and high-tail it back to his spot in ten seconds. Well, not this time! Thanks so much Miles and Kimberly!!
In other news, we are so excited to be playing at the Salvation Army on Thanksgiving Day! Every Thanksgiving hundreds of homeless and needy people are fed by the kind volunteers at the Salvation Army here in Tyler and at Salvation Army centers across the country. Last year we had the opportunity to be a part of this special

Hey, folks!
One of the funny things about life in our house is that any given moment you might hear three or four people in different rooms singing different songs. At the top of their lungs. Well, if you were to walk by our house this week, you would probably get a huge and probably unwelcome dose of Christmas music. Yes, it is a little early still (for most people) to be singing Christmas songs, but we Hubbards are feverishly trying to finish our Christmas project. Daddy has locked himself in the studio. At breakfast and dinner we throw a crust of bread in for him and run away. No, I'm just kidding!
Mostly.
Anyway, we will hopefully have this new CD all wrapped up by the 15th of November. Meanwhile, if you would like to book the Hubbard family for a special Christmas program at your church please call!
Well, dear friends, I guess that's all for now! God bless you and thanks for stopping by!
In Christ,

Welcome! We Hubbards are very excited about our little corner of sellgospelcds.com. Thanks for stopping by! And thank you BJ for creating such a great site for gospel music! We Hubbards have been very busy lately. We have remodeled our entire website. Hope you enjoy it! We are also currently recording a new project which should be available early next year. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated! Hate to sound like a broken record, but we have also been keeping a very BUSY concert schedule! We were blessed recently to be a part of a fundraiser for the Greenbrier Nursing Home at New Life Baptist Church. We are so proud to honor not only the precious people who live in this nursing home, but also the devoted employees who work so hard behind the scenes. God bless you! We also had a great time playing the early morning concert at the Gilmer, Yamboree! The Hubbard Family was joined by DeWayne Phillips and his band. It was a high-powered Christian concert with dynamic
